21 Feb Ecospill back rising motocross star

We’re proud to announce that Ecospill will be sponsoring rising motocross star, Billy Askew (14), and in the process helping him to compete on the British, European and World stages. Lincoln-born Billy (nicknamed ‘BamBam’) is one of the sport’s hottest prospects and has been showcasing his abilities since the age of five, routinely winning multiple British Championship races in every class and age group.

Driven to succeed
We’ve been impressed with Billy’s natural flair, appetite for success and strong work ethic. Last year, and at the age of only 13, he won the British Masters Mx Title against riders up to the age of 15. Billy also finished in the top three of the British MX Championship Series, as well as winning the British Masters Championships and the Weston Beach Race – the latter being Europe’s largest offroad event.

That’s no mean feat in such a demanding sport and these successes further highlight his determination and extraordinary potential. 2022 is going to be another incredible year for Billy, who is now a member of both the prestigious RMJ MX Academy (the UK’s premier motocross coaching organisation) and leading British team, GRT Impact KTM.

This year, you can watch Billy and the team compete at the Bridgestone British Masters Championship, the ACU British Championship, and the Michelin MX Nationals British Championship. All events are taking place throughout the UK, so pop along if you can and show him your support.
