The base of this unit is manufactured from 3mm mild steel sheet and uses RHS cross members and pressed ribs for additional strength. All the corner posts and shelves, main rails and cross members are manufactured from rolled hollow section and the back, sides and door panels are pressed from 2mm mild steel sheet which is corrugated where required.
The sloping roof is pressed and fitted with suitable bracing, welded around the perimeter and fitted with crane lifting points, and the double steel sliding doors run on easy glide track. Constructed from 3mm mild steel, the sump is fully seam welded and fitted with galvanised steel pallet channels (3 per pallet space). The sump as you would expect complies fully with all current UK regulations relating to capacities and the underside is fitted with plinths to eliminate contact with ground and reduce the risk of corrosion. Pallets on the upper level sit directly onto a steel support frame and prior to painting the unit is fully shot blasted to provide a clean and keyed surface.
This model can hold up to 16 x 205ltr drums (4 pallet locations) or 4 x 1000ltr IBC’s across two levels and will accommodate standard 1200mm x 1200mm, 1200mm x 1000mm and 1200mm x 800mm pallets.

This unit will be delivered by an HGV, possibly articulated therefore please ensure that a vehicle of this type can access your premises before ordering and advise us accordingly.
You will require an appropriate size/capacity forklift truck to offload this item from the delivery vehicle. Our standard delivery doesn’t include any offloading.
The unit must be positioned on a solid level surface, ideally concrete of circa 150mm in depth and 100mm bigger overall than the unit. The purpose of this is to ensure the unit does not settle unevenly when loaded.
