FAQs

What should I do in the event of a spill?

First and foremost, you need to make sure you have the right absorbents if a spill was to occur. Ecospill strongly advise that you should not attempt to clean or manage a spill if you have not had the right training to do so. If you know that your business or employee’s do not answer yes to the above question then please contact us 01709 542259 straight away.

Do I need a professional?

You would only need the assistance of a professional if yourself or somebody around you hasn’t had the correct training to clean or maintain a spill. Without the correct knowledge you are in danger or seriously injuring yourself or people around you.

Where should I dispose of the products after using them for a spill?

All of Ecospills spill response kits come with hazard waste bags and cable ties to tie up. You can then dispose of the absorbents properly into the hazard waste bags after being used (please make sure you are wearing gloves at all times). You can buy hazard waste bags and cable ties separate if you need to. Please check with your local waste disposable centre for disposing the bag and contents.
